The night opened with “The Wild Boys,” immediately putting the crowd into familiar territory before “A View to a Kill,” “Hungry Like the Wolf,” “Union of the Snake,” and “Notorious” kept the momentum rolling. The set balanced massive hits with deeper choices, including their spirited take on Electric Light Orchestra’s “Evil Woman” and the unexpected “Lonely in Your Nightmare / Super Freak” mashup. And a fantastic cover of "White Lines" which they originally performed with Grand Master Flash and The Furious Five, with Simon Le Bon taking on the lyrics from Melly Mel
The Energy
Simon Le Bon remained a commanding frontman, while the band sounded tight and confident throughout. “Ordinary World” provided one of the night's emotional highlights, followed by “Come Undone” and “INVISIBLE.” The show then shifted back into party mode with “(Reach Up for the) Sunrise” and their version of “White Lines (Don’t Don’t Do It).”
