Neon Trees brought their energetic blend of alternative rock and infectious pop-rock to Thunder Valley Casino, delivering the kind of performance that makes it easy to understand why the band has remained such a durable live act. Led by Tyler Glenn, the group has always had a knack for turning catchy songs into big, crowd-friendly moments, and the Thunder Valley stage gave them plenty of room to do exactly that.
The band’s biggest songs naturally provided some of the loudest reactions. “Animal” remains an undeniable live favorite, with its driving beat and instantly recognizable hook getting the crowd involved almost immediately. “Everybody Talks” was another major highlight, transforming the venue into a giant singalong as fans joined Glenn on one of Neon Trees’ most recognizable songs.
Glenn remains a compelling frontman, bringing plenty of personality and movement to the stage. His theatrical style fits perfectly with the band’s bright, upbeat sound, while the rest of Neon Trees provides the tight musical foundation that keeps everything moving.
What made the Thunder Valley show particularly enjoyable was the balance between nostalgia and energy. Neon Trees can revisit the songs that introduced them to a huge audience while still making the performance feel fresh rather than like a trip through a greatest-hits museum.
