A Flock Of Seagulls - Atlantic City 2026

A Flock of Seagulls brought their unmistakable brand of early-'80s synth-pop to Atlantic City in 2026, delivering a set that fit perfectly into the Totally Tubular Festival's celebration of the era. The band's atmospheric keyboards, electronic rhythms and shimmering guitars created an appropriately nostalgic sound, while the familiar songs kept the crowd engaged throughout.

“Space Age Love Song” and “I Ran (So Far Away)” were obvious highlights, with the latter producing the biggest reaction of the set. Hearing that instantly recognizable synthesizer line live was one of those moments that transported the audience straight back to the early days of MTV.

The performance wasn't about reinventing the band's classic material. It was about presenting those songs with enough energy to make them feel alive rather than simply recreating old recordings.

For fans of early-'80s new wave, A Flock of Seagulls delivered exactly what the festival promised: atmospheric synths, memorable melodies and two songs that remain instantly recognizable decades later. “I Ran” was the centerpiece, but the entire performance made for an enjoyable trip back to the beginning of the MTV era.
