Bow Wow Wow - Atlantic City 2026

Bow Wow Wow brought one of the most distinctive sounds of the early ’80s to Atlantic City as part of the Totally Tubular Festival at Hard Rock Live. Their set was a welcome change of pace from the more polished synth-pop acts on the bill, leaning heavily into the band’s energetic mix of punk attitude, new wave weirdness, and worldbeat-inspired rhythms. The performance had a loose, infectious quality that made it easy to see why Bow Wow Wow still stands out from the crowded ’80s nostalgia circuit. The biggest crowd reaction naturally came during “I Want Candy,” but the set worked because the band didn’t treat the song as its only reason for being there.
