TLC - 90's Cruise 2026

TLC brought one of the most recognizable catalogs in '90s R&B to The 90's Cruise in January 2026, performing aboard the Celebrity Constellation during the cruise's run from Tampa to Nassau and Key West. With a lineup that also included Sugar Ray, Better Than Ezra, En Vogue, Tonic, Fuel, Smash Mouth, EMF, Kid 'n Play, and Maxi Priest, the cruise was essentially a floating celebration of '90s music.

TLC was a perfect fit for the event. T-Boz and Chilli have enough major hits to fill a festival set without ever having to stretch for material, and the cruise audience was already primed to sing along to virtually everything they played.

The set opened with “Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg,” immediately taking the crowd back to TLC's early-'90s breakthrough. “What About Your Friends” and “Baby-Baby-Baby” followed, creating an opening stretch packed with songs from the group's first two albums.

“Red Light Special” slowed things down and brought out the smoother R&B side of the performance. “Diggin' on You” continued that mood before “Unpretty” moved the show into TLC's later-'90s material.

The middle of the performance became a celebration of the group's deeper catalog. “Kick Your Game,” “Girl Talk,” and “Hat 2 Da Back” were worked into a medley, while “Silly Ho” and “FanMail” gave longtime TLC fans some less obvious favorites.

Then came “Creep.” The song remains one of TLC's defining recordings, and the response from the cruise crowd showed just how strongly the group's music has survived. The combination of R&B, hip-hop attitude, and irresistible choreography still works remarkably well live.

Of course, “No Scrubs” was the biggest party moment of the night. The song is practically a time capsule of 1999, but it has never really left the culture. Hearing an entire cruise ship audience instantly recognize every part of it made it one of the easiest sing-alongs of the entire voyage.

TLC closed with “Waterfalls,” arguably the perfect choice. The song has always represented the more reflective side of the group, and its enormous melody gave the performance a big emotional finish.

What made TLC's appearance work so well was the setting. This wasn't simply a concert surrounded by a handful of other acts—it was a full-blown '90s vacation, with thousands of fans deliberately choosing to spend several days surrounded by the music they grew up with. TLC fit that environment perfectly.

The performance also demonstrated the remarkable staying power of the group's catalog. More than three decades after “Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg,” TLC could still move effortlessly between dance songs, smooth R&B, socially conscious material, and enormous pop hits.

For everyone aboard The 90's Cruise, TLC delivered exactly what the occasion demanded: nostalgia without feeling like a museum piece. “Creep,” “No Scrubs,” “Waterfalls,” “Red Light Special,” and “Baby-Baby-Baby” remain terrific live songs, and hearing them performed aboard a cruise ship packed with '90s fans made the experience feel like one giant reunion with a particularly good soundtrack.
