The Lovin’ Spoonful – Niagara 2026

The Lovin’ Spoonful brought a terrific dose of ’60s pop, folk and rock ’n’ roll to Niagara Falls in 2026 as part of the My Generation Tour at OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. Sharing the bill with The Hollies and Gary Lewis & The Playboys, the band had the difficult task of packing decades of classic material into a relatively short set—and they made it count.

“Do You Believe in Magic?” immediately got things moving, followed by “Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind,” “Nashville Cats,” “Six O’Clock,” “Rain on the Roof” and “She Is Still a Mystery.” “Welcome Back” provided a fun connection to John Sebastian’s later career, while “Daydream” and “You Didn’t Have to Be So Nice” brought some of the biggest sing-along moments.

The highlight, naturally, was “Summer in the City,” which gave the performance a fantastic closing burst of energy. The current lineup did a convincing job of celebrating a catalog filled with remarkably durable songs.

For a band inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, The Lovin’ Spoonful still approached the material with a relaxed, good-time spirit. Niagara got a nostalgic but genuinely enjoyable trip back to one of the most creative periods in American pop music.
