Cypress Hill - Toronto 2026

Cypress Hill returned to the Toronto area in 2026 with the same combination of heavy beats, Latin-infused hip-hop and rock energy that has made the group one of rap's most durable live acts. While the group did not actually have a Toronto city date in 2026, its Canadian summer run included major Ontario appearances, giving fans in the region another chance to experience B-Real, Sen Dog, DJ Lord and Eric Bobo in full concert mode.

The performance was built around the songs that made Cypress Hill legendary. “How I Could Just Kill a Man,” “Hand on the Pump,” “When the Shit Goes Down,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Lowrider,” “I Wanna Get High,” “Dr. Greenthumb” and “Hits From the Bong” provided plenty of opportunities for the crowd to get loud.

The combination of B-Real and Sen Dog remains central to the group's appeal. Their contrasting voices give Cypress Hill's music its distinctive character, while DJ Lord and Eric Bobo provide the beats, scratches and percussion that keep everything moving. The result is much more aggressive live than the laid-back reputation of some of their recordings might suggest.

“Insane in the Brain” was inevitably one of the biggest moments, while “(Rock) Superstar” brought the rock side of the group to the forefront. The set also incorporated “Bombtrack,” connecting Cypress Hill's sound to their long history of crossing the boundaries between hip-hop and rock.

More than three decades after their breakthrough, Cypress Hill still knows exactly how to put on a hip-hop show. The beats were heavy, the crowd was energetic and the classics sounded completely at home in a modern concert setting. It was another reminder that Cypress Hill's music hasn't simply survived the passage of time—it still hits hard.
