Toto - Palm Beach 2025

Toto brought its legendary combination of rock, pop, jazz, and extraordinary musicianship to the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida, on August 16, 2025. The concert was part of Toto's Dogz of Oz World Tour, a major run that found the band playing large theaters and outdoor amphitheaters across North America.

For Toto fans, the attraction was obvious. The band has one of the deepest catalogs in classic pop-rock, and its live performances have always placed a heavy emphasis on musicianship. Rather than simply recreating the studio recordings, Toto's concerts give the players plenty of room to demonstrate the intricate arrangements and instrumental skill that made the band so respected among fellow musicians.

The West Palm Beach set opened with “Child's Anthem” and “Till the End,” before moving into “Hold the Line.” Starting with the instrumental introduction and then immediately launching into one of Toto's biggest hits was an effective way to get the crowd involved from the beginning.

The band continued with “Pamela,” “King of the World,” and “I Won't Hold You Back.” The set then moved through “Jake to the Bone,” “Rosanna,” and “Georgy Porgy,” giving the audience a taste of several different sides of Toto's sound.

“Rosanna” was one of the major highlights of the night. The song remains one of Toto's signature performances, combining a complicated rhythm section with layered keyboards, guitar, and vocals. Live, the arrangement demonstrated exactly why Toto has always been considered a musicians' band.

The middle of the concert also included “Human Nature,” the Michael Jackson classic co-written by Toto keyboardist Steve Porcaro. Toto's connection to Jackson's music runs deep, with several members having played on Thriller and other major recordings.

The final stretch delivered a run of fan favorites including “Stop Loving You,” “I'll Be Over You,” “Home of the Brave,” “With a Little Help From My Friends,” and “Africa.” The latter was predictably the biggest sing-along of the evening, with the entire amphitheater joining in on one of the most recognizable songs of the 1980s.

The encore kept the energy high with “Home of the Brave” before the band returned for “Africa,” depending on the night's running order. The combination of huge hooks and exceptional musicianship gave the finale the scale you'd expect from a major outdoor concert.

The West Palm Beach setting also suited Toto's music perfectly. An outdoor summer amphitheater filled with thousands of fans provided the ideal environment for a band whose songs have become permanent fixtures of classic-rock and pop radio.

For Toto, the Palm Beach appearance was another strong example of why the band has remained so durable. More than four decades after its biggest commercial successes, the songs still sound polished and ambitious, while the musicians continue to perform them with the precision that has always been part of Toto's identity. At iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre, the combination of “Hold the Line,” “Rosanna,” “Africa,” and everything in between made for a thoroughly satisfying night of classic pop-rock.
