AC/DC — Houston 2026 NEW
Houston had waited more than a decade for AC/DC to return, and the band's 2026 stop at Reliant Stadium made the wait worthwhile. The Power Up Tour delivered the kind of stadium-sized rock spectacle that has defined AC/DC for generations, complete with enormous video screens, blazing lights and thousands of fans sporting the band's trademark devil horns.
Angus Young led the charge with his unmistakable schoolboy outfit and explosive guitar work, while Brian Johnson's gritty vocals powered through a set loaded with classics. “If You Want Blood (You've Got It)” opened the show before “Back in Black,” “Thunderstruck,” “Hells Bells” and “Highway to Hell” kept the stadium roaring. “Demon Fire” and “Shot in the Dark” added newer material without slowing the momentum.
“Let There Be Rock” featured an extended Angus Young guitar solo, giving the guitarist room to showcase his legendary stage presence. The encore brought “T.N.T.” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You),” with cannon blasts providing a thunderous finale. After years away, AC/DC reminded Houston why its music belongs on the biggest stages.
