AC/DC — Toronto 2015 NEW
More than 40,000 fans packed Downsview Park in Toronto for AC/DC's Rock or Bust World Tour in 2015, turning the sprawling outdoor venue into a massive celebration of hard rock. The band's return to Toronto came after a 12-year absence, and the anticipation was enormous, with many fans wondering whether this might be their last chance to see the legendary group live.
Angus Young remained the undeniable focal point, tearing through guitar solos while Brian Johnson commanded the stage with his unmistakable rasp. The set opened with “Rock or Bust” and quickly launched into classics including “Back in Black,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,” “Thunderstruck” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.” Newer material blended seamlessly with the familiar favorites, keeping the crowd engaged throughout the two-hour performance.
“Let There Be Rock” delivered a spectacular extended guitar solo from Young, while the encore brought “Highway to Hell” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You),” complete with the band's signature cannon blasts. It was a loud, explosive night of rock history in Toronto.
