311 — Ocean's Calling 2024 NEW
311 brought their signature blend of alternative rock, reggae, funk and rap-rock to the Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland, in 2024. Playing the Rockville stage, the Omaha-born band packed its festival set with familiar favorites, energetic grooves and the kind of infectious rhythms that have kept fans coming back for decades.
“Beautiful Disaster” kicked things off before “Freeze Time,” “All Mixed Up” and “Come Original” got the crowd moving. The band also showcased newer material with “You're Gonna Get It,” balancing it against longtime staples like “Don't Stay Home” and “Amber.” A cover of The Cure's “Lovesong” added a recognizable twist, while “Applied Science” gave the musicians a chance to show off their instrumental chemistry.
“Flowing” and “Creatures (for a While)” kept the momentum going as the set approached its finale. Closing with “Down,” 311 delivered a concise, hit-filled performance that fit the festival atmosphere perfectly and reminded Ocean City why the band remains a dependable live draw.
