Howard Jones — Cleveland 2026 NEW
Howard Jones brought the unmistakable sound of British synth-pop to Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Cleveland in 2026, revisiting the electronic melodies and thoughtful songwriting that made him a fixture of 1980s radio. Armed with synthesizers, infectious hooks and his distinctive vocals, Jones demonstrated why his music continues to resonate with fans decades after his breakthrough.
Songs such as “New Song,” “What Is Love?” and “Things Can Only Get Better” helped establish Jones as one of the decade's most recognizable solo artists. His music combined bright electronic arrangements with lyrics that explored relationships, optimism and personal growth, giving his hits more substance than their catchy melodies initially suggested. “Like to Get to Know You Well” and “No One Is to Blame” showcased different sides of his catalog, balancing upbeat pop with more reflective moments.
The Cleveland performance offered a nostalgic trip through an influential period in synth-pop, when electronic instruments were transforming mainstream music. Jones's enduring collection of songs provided plenty of familiar melodies for longtime fans to enjoy.
