Olivia Rodrigo — San Francisco 2024 NEW
Olivia Rodrigo brought the emotional intensity of her GUTS World Tour to San Francisco’s Chase Center in 2024, delivering a performance that balanced explosive pop-rock with vulnerable, piano-driven moments. At just 21, Rodrigo had already established herself as one of pop’s biggest stars, and the arena crowd responded with the kind of enthusiasm that made every song feel like a shared experience.
Opening with “bad idea right?” and “ballad of a homeschooled girl,” Rodrigo quickly launched into a set packed with songs from GUTS and her breakthrough album SOUR. “Vampire,” “Traitor,” “Drivers License,” and “Deja Vu” showcased her ability to move between simmering heartbreak and full-throttle frustration. Meanwhile, “Jealousy, Jealousy,” “Brutal,” and “All-American Bitch” gave the show a sharper, guitar-heavy edge.
The production included a talented band, dancers, and a memorable sequence in which Rodrigo rode a crescent moon above the audience during “Logical” and “Enough for You.” The spectacle complemented the songs without overshadowing her performance.
She saved two major crowd-pleasers for the encore: “Good 4 U” and “Get Him Back!” Both sent the arena into a final burst of energy. San Francisco witnessed a confident young performer turning personal songwriting into an enormous communal singalong.
