4 Non Blondes — Ocean's Calling 2025 NEW
Linda Perry's unmistakable voice was impossible to ignore when 4 Non Blondes took the Sea Bright Stage at Oceans Calling in 2025. The band's reunion gave festivalgoers a chance to experience more than its biggest hit, showcasing a raw, guitar-driven sound that still carries plenty of attitude decades after the group's original run.
Opening with Led Zeppelin's “Rock and Roll,” preceded by a chorus of “What's Up?,” the band immediately set an energetic tone. “Push & Shove,” “Train” and “Strange Places” followed, highlighting the group's alternative-rock edge. “Mighty Lady,” “Drop the Bomb” and “What They Want” kept the set moving, while “What's Up?” delivered the inevitable massive singalong moment. Perry's powerful vocals remained the focal point, backed by a tight band that gave the songs plenty of muscle.
The performance continued with “Drama Queen,” “Monomorphic,” “Don't Wanna” and “Hollow,” showing that 4 Non Blondes had more to offer than nostalgia. Their Oceans Calling appearance was a spirited reminder of the band's distinctive place in '90s alternative rock.
