Slightly Stoopid - Fiddlers Green 2026
Slightly Stoopid brought its laid-back blend of reggae, punk, rock, dub and jam-band energy to Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Colorado in August 2026, as part of the Summer Greens 2026 lineup. Sharing the bill with Sublime and 311 made the night a particularly strong celebration of the Southern California alternative-reggae scene, with Slightly Stoopid fitting perfectly into the relaxed but energetic atmosphere.
The band's performance was built around the loose, improvisational quality that has made Slightly Stoopid such a popular live act. Songs such as “2 AM,” “Closer to the Sun,” “Officer,” “Collie Man,” “One More Night” and “Murder” gave longtime fans plenty of familiar material, while the band's extended grooves allowed the musicians to stretch beyond the studio versions.
Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty remain the heart of the group, trading vocals and guitar while the expanded lineup fills out the sound with percussion, keyboards, horns and plenty of rhythmic color. That combination gives Slightly Stoopid's concerts a much bigger sound than the band's name might suggest.
The Fiddler’s Green setting was also a natural fit. An outdoor summer amphitheater, a huge crowd and a lineup featuring three bands with deep roots in reggae-influenced alternative rock created the perfect environment for the group's music. The audience came ready to dance, relax and enjoy the communal atmosphere.
Slightly Stoopid's set ultimately felt like exactly what a summer concert should be: loose, loud when it needed to be, deeply groovy and completely unconcerned with taking itself too seriously. With Sublime and 311 surrounding them on the bill, the band helped make the Fiddler’s Green stop one of the more entertaining gatherings of the 2026 summer concert season.
